Ingredients:
Salt and Pepper as per taste
1 Tomato
3/4 teaspoon of Garam Masala
2 Chicken Breasts
Chillies as per taste
1 teaspoon of Garlic
A bunch of Coriander and some Thyme
Equipment:
Hand Blender
(If you don't have a burger press don't worry you can simply form the burgers by hand, Mine is from Kitchens but similar ones can be found from Lakeland)
1. Place ingredients in the blender and blend until it's mushy (my blender is small so i add half the ingredients first then the remaining half).
2. Place one wax disc inside the burger press, add a tablespoon of the chicken mix and cover with another wax disc. Press with the top of the burger press. Place burgers in the freezer to chill until you are ready to make them.
3. Remove the wax disc from the burgers and grill on a griddle/grilling pan (lightly oil to prevent sticking). Flip over and grill until cooked. The wax discs can be hard to take off sometimes; just place in microwave for 30 seconds and they come off easier. If you don't have a burger press, oil your hands and form patties with the chicken mix. You can also use minced chicken to make these (then you wouldn't need the blender) but I was feeling too lazy to go to the butchers to buy minced chicken and thus used chicken breast that i had in the freezer. I got 9 burgers from this mix.
4. Serve :)
Here I've served them with a quick green salad and a warm gunga beans salad.
Bon Appetit!
