I am a total skin care person, I am confident in my own skin and go out without an ounce of makeup on all the time. My only skin concern is undereye circles (due to genetics), and they often look worse to me (as I know that they're there) plus I have deep set eyes so they are more accentuated.
Describe your skincare routine in 5 words
Cleanse, Cleanse, CLEANSE, Tone, moisturise
What's your skin type?
Normal to perfect? :D (I am the blessed one out of me and Nigar)
What's your favourite skincare product?
OIL: my CAN'T live without product and the secret to perfect skin, I use an oil (I alter between coconut and almond). It's what I use to remove make-up and cleanse my skin every day. After being an oil cleansing person there is no way I could go back to using standard cleansers. I do hate sls containing (FOAMING) cleansers, used to use them for years and I would have breakouts very regularly.
Top blemish zapper
I pop them :D with a blackhead extractor and then follow with a home made face mask goes on, and some lemon juice applied topically.
Face wipes yay or nay?
Hate face wipes, I don't understand how they can be part of so many people's everyday routine. I would only use them in emergency situations and even then haven't used them on my face in years. Stay away from them and your skin will thank you for it.
Toner yay or nay?
I love toners, Always have, Always will. I first started using them years ago (I first got into skin care when I moved to England and I used to cleanse, tone, moisturise with Yves Rocher goodies my dad used to buy me) and it's something that's a part of my routine. I alter between rosewater toners and glycolic toners and moisturising ones.
High end skincare or high end makeup?
I'm not s brand snob when it comes to either, I don't mind spending the money on higher end stuff as long as it delivers what it promise to. I do spend more on my moisturiser than I do on other skin care products.
What's the most unusual skincare product you've tried?
Not sure what classifies as unusual as from other blogger's tag I have read some people felt home made avocado mask was unusual, so from that view point maybe turmeric? (which I love hands down).
You're in a French pharmacy and can only pick one item - what is it?
I have really good skin so I've never understood the obsession with French Pharmacies :D So err I wouldn't really grab anything (I'd grab some La Roche Posay Serozinc for my sister).
Tell us your top skincare tip
OIL CLEANSING, honestly, best thing you can do externally. Your skin is your body's largest organ and is a direct reflection of inner workings of your body so ensure you get in enough fluids and fruits and vegetables.
Perfect skin...WOW!
