The Skin Care Tag: Nigar

This is my first tag! Kay stumbled across this on Kat from Tales of a Pale Face.
I have always loved tag posts and video's and I'm sure I'm going to love doing one!

I have always had problems with my skin - breakouts, scars, oil!
I pop my spots, and my nails rip the skin, so hence the scars. Not a pretty picture, but there you do. So skin care is so important. Both to ensure the breakouts calm down, and to sort the scars that are there. With a good base, make-up will never look good.

The Tag!

Describe your skincare routine in 5 words
Cleanse, Tone, Thermal Spray, Moisturise, Eyes

What's your skin type?
Combination with an oily t-zone.

What's your favourite skincare product?
Lush Ocean Salt FacialScrub
This is such a life saver. Helps to make my skin feel so refreshed when my face needs it most.  Now this is a harsh scrub, so it’s not for everyday usage

Top blemish zapper
I use a lemon! Just get s slice of fresh lemon and apply it to your face.
(not from the fridge so that the enzymes are active when you apply it)

Face wipes yay or nay?
Nay. I don’t like them. They don’t take my makeup off, and leave horrible residue after it. I wash all my products off and start with a fresh face!

Toner yay or nay?
Yay! I love toner. It makes my skin feel so fresh and ensures any leftover makeup on my face and neck is removed.

High end skincare or high end makeup?
Thinking about it, most my skin care products are ‘high end’.  Just because my face is very sensitive and most high street products make me break out!

What's the most unusual skincare product you've tried?
I haven’t been that adventurous yet .. but I would say the Charcoal Mask. It still freaks me out when I look in the mirror!

You're in a French pharmacy and can only pick one item - what is it?
La Roche Posay Serozinc. Only because we had to order it from abroad when I wanted to try it!

Tell us your top skincare tip
Scrub! Scrubbing is important as it removes the dead skin cells allowing and encouraging new skin growth – great for acne scarred skin like mine!

Do feel free to do it! But remember to mention Kat, this is after all her tag!

Much love,
Nigar
