Outfit of The Day: Eid Ul Fitr

Eid is a pretty sombre affair for us, we typically wear a new outfit and stay at home and have a few guests over and eat until we're stuffed :D

First up Nuzhah: Her outfit was gifted to her by her parents and she was the dressier one of the lot. Nuzhah has textured hair so she pulled it all back in a bun and wore a simple pair of stud earrings with khussas.

Kayennat: I picked up some simple fabric and had it made into a suit with tight trousers/ churidaar. I wore a pair of gold thong sandals and faux pearl earrings. The suit had little crystals dotted around the flowers. I had my everyday curly/wavy hair. On the lips No7 Bare Lipstick.

Nigar: She also picked up fabrics and had a suit made.

Desi Ombre hair
On the way to ombre hair
We haven't dyed Nigar's hair again since her initial bleaching as she was in London and now has an eye infection. Her hair has turned less brassy and has lightened more with washing. We will write a step by step post once we have finished the process.

We used to go all out and dress like we're going to a wedding and go watch whatever Bollywood movie had come out for Eid, but we haven't for a while now as the cinema gets too packed and is full of the wrong crowds.

Do you guys go all out for Eid or dress more casually?
What do you do apart from visiting family/hosting?
