Hello 2014!

Loving Right Now (Beauty and Skincare)...
The L'Oreal Nude Magique Eau de Teint in nude beige. I am really liking this as an everyday foundation so I don't get though my Nars Sheer Glow just so quickly! It is a bit on the pink side for me, but that's fixed with just adding a bit of yellow mixer by Keromask. Also, the viscosity of this foundation irks me. Especially in such packaging. So I've simply potted some into one of those pots you get from those travel sets. I dip my Real Techniques Pointed Foundation Brush, use that to splash dot it around my face, and blend it in using my Real Techniques Expert Face Brush.

Oil. It has helped me so much! Kay purchased the Pai Skincare Rosehip BioRegenerate oil last year, which I have just started using (for my facial/spot scars) and I am really liking it. And of course, the normal almond & coconut oil is saving my nose and chin from shrivelling up from this weather.

Other Loves...
My amazing new Kindle

Vita Coconut water! I started drinking this over the summer after having Kayennat going on about for so long, and its so nice! My Tesco has just started selling the big cartons, yay!
Kent mangoes! Ok, so it's weird having a variety of mango that I prefer, but these are just soo much nicer than the others, and its in season now so I'm really just having as much as I can.
Winning at Monopoly. So me and two of my friends who also came to uni with me from college play monopoly at least once a week. We've been known to push it to four times once. And I have the highest amount of wins so far. Go Nigar, go Nigar, go Nigar

Non- Loves...
Back problems! I have bad posture. I've always known that, but being at uni, and hunching over a laptop doing work (or playing games) is just not good for me.
The weather. I want Summer to come back. Now. That is all.

Current Book...
So, I remember complaining in November that I haven't been reading as much as I would like due to university. But since getting my Kindle for Christmas the bookworm inside is back! Wiggle wiggle.

My current book, and one that I am absolutely loving is a series called the Emperor's Edge by Lindsay Buroker. It is sort of an accidental "steampunk" fantasy riddled with magic, adventure and the frustrating attraction between two of the main characters. Its frustrating because I'm onto the fifth book and their story hasn't progressed. This doesn't take away from the authors talent, which grows from the first book, its just the way their story is.

I have basically been reading book after book, while doing uni work of course, and fully recommend it. There are seven books in total, with (I think) four short stories. The first book was free on amazon via kindle, but that seems to have gone up to 77p now (not a lot), but here is an official link to a free copy :)

Update: OK, so its been a few days since I wrote this post, and let it sit in drafts, and I'm onto book 7, and OMG what the hell just happened! I read the last chapter and I cried. I was dying inside to know what happened so instead of starting book 7 at the first chapter I skipped and read the last (I'm reading from the beginning now though,)

Current Song...
Girl You're Alright by Paul Otten
Heard this on Reign and loved it!

Do you guys have any books to recommend?
