I really wanted to do a white manicure with silver accents for this Monday's mani but my white polish had turned gloopy and was not behaving. Deciding on an alternate colour is a nightmare when you have over 350 nail polishes *hangs head in shame* . I was torn between this rich purple and a green emerald. Nigar came to my rescue and purple it was.
I used: Glisten & Glow Stuck on Blu Base Coat, Maybelline Color Show Noite de Gal, Maybelline Color Show Cool Touch, Essie Set In Stones, Glisten & Glow HK Girl Top Coat
Gems are an easy and cheap way of making your manicures more interesting. The wheels can be picked up on Ebay for about 99 pence with free shipping. Click here to buy one. They are pretty easy to use.
How to apply nail gems:
Apply a layer of top coat, use a pair of tweezers to pick up the gem and place on your nails.
Allow it to set then finish off with a final layer of top coat to seal in place.
Thoughts on Maybelline Color Show Nail Polish:
Maybelline Color Show polishes are awesome! Love the formula, love the colours ,love the brush, and it's a great price. We have some swatches here, but our collection have definitely grown since.....
|Ring *borrowed* from Nigar :D|
Noite de Gal is a great colour for when you want a dark polish but don't want black. It has the depth and character a but a little bit less morbid.
